Sentinel Construction is hiring Project Engineers to join our team.
Project Engineer Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for document control which includes updating record drawings, documenting RFI's, preparing daily and weekly reports, closeout submittals and managing submittal exchange.
Track project data, averages, project costs, daily and weekly work progress and other documents as needed through construction software.
Support Project Managers with bidding process, buy-out process, writing contracts, scheduling, change orders and approval letters.
Manage the pay application process including obtaining and reviewing subcontractor pay applications and lien waivers, reviewing and assigning job codes to invoices/receipts/time cards, entering data into construction software and assembling the submission package.
Assist other team members on varying projects and tasks.
Project Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
Team player who is self-motivated and willing to complete any task assigned.
High level of organization skills and attention to detail with ability to multi-task among multiple projects and managers.
Highly Proficient in Excel, Bluebeam, and general computer skills.
Ability to travel locally between office and job sites.
Compensation to be based on experience. There is potential for significant growth in this position if desired.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
